A 1000ml Florence (boiling) flasks is heavy duty with thick & few markings & can be used as decanters or flower vases or other decorative uses.

They come with thicker walls than a comparable Erlenmeyer flask. Although it is often used in chemistry labs for heating, it actually makes a very attractive glass vase for flowers or wine.
