The canopy of this EDF RC Jet Model was modified to use our 10x5x2.5mm block magnets. The image was supplied by Dave Durand of ETA 4D Tech
This magnet is available by special order only.
We have sold NdFeB magnets since 1996 and N42 grade since 2003, the best value for strength & temperature vs cost. Don't be fooled by claims of higher strength, N52, at lower cost.

We also provide complete Documentation including MSDS & ROHS; see below.
Some of the more fun applications I have for these magnets is my R/C aviation hobby. A 3D scanner and 3D printer enables me to create custom accessories for members of the R/C community.
Many R/C airplanes come with (or older ones retrofitted with) neodymium magnets to secure removable access panels and canopies. The canopy on this moulded EPO Styrofoam electric ducted fan (EDF) jet model doubles as a battery hatch. 10mm x 5mm x 2.5mm neodymium block magnets located at each end of the canopy and in the corresponding location of the fuselage, hold the canopy securely in place at speeds in excess of 180km/h.
