Bruce Martin of Guelph, ON sent us these pictures of one of his radio controlled model submarines. He uses the 2.5x10mm rod magnets to operate the bow plane, rudders and stern plane mechanisms using a radio transmitter. The conning tower has 6 lights in it and he uses the magnets to conduct the electricity needed to light them.
Bruce is part of an American based club called the "SUBCOMMITTEE" with the local Ontario chapter called SubComOn which covers southern and eastern Ontario.
We have sold NdFeB magnets since 1996 and N42 grade since 2003, the best value for strength & temperature vs cost. Don't be fooled by claims of higher strength, N52, at lower cost.
Read the complete Google Customer Review for: "...(Indigo) N42 Neodymium magnets...the real deal…bought magnets on Amazon advertised as N52… another cheap Chinese fake"
We also provide complete Documentation including MSDS & ROHS; see below.
The Mark I Magnaprobe can respond to as little as 0.3 gauss & will detect weaknesses in magnetic shielding. The Mark II Magnaprobe is a fast & convenient way to confirm magnet are positioned with their poles pointing correctly.
