Cellulose is a polysaccharde consisting of thousands of D-glucose subunits β(1→4) linked (see image) in long chains. It is the most abundant organic compound on Earth & greatest source of glucose & plays a major structural roles in plants.

The glucose sugars model kit comes with enough parts to build at least 6 monosaccharides and 3 disaccharides. This is sufficient to build a chemical structure model of cellulose with cross links.
