In the image you can see 3 steps are indicated:

  1. The long grey bonds need to be cut to 8mm length & are used to couple two 3 pronged grey atoms. Use a blade, not scissors which can crush the material.
  2. Snip 1 prong from each yellow atom to correctly illustrate the valence.
  3. Attach bonds to the pair from (1) & then attach 6 snipped yellow atoms from (2) to the others ends of these bonds.

Continue this process until you have something that looks like the model in the main image.
