6H SiC Unit Cell

This 6H-SiC unit cell shows the hexagonal crystal lattice structure of wurtzite which is a polymorph of silicon carbide. The 6H-SiC polytype ABCACBABCACB stacking sequence repeats every six bilayers along the c-axis direction.
The red tetrahedra in the model denote atoms that are in an adjacent unit cell .
