Epitalon is a tetrapeptide with the amino acid sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly and the molecular formula C₁₄H₂₂N₄O₉. This set does not have enough parts to build this structure but if you click on epitalon, option 1 in 3D Molecular Model builder will list the extra parts needed. This procedure works for any molecule.

Note the change in nitrogen atom geometry from tetrahedral to planar when forming peptide bonds. If you wish to connect other amino acids to this tetrapeptide you will need add a planar nitrogen to the shopping cart for every additional peptide bond.

Specifications
