Epitalon is a tetrapeptide with the amino acid sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly and the molecular formula C14H22N4O9. This set does not have enough parts to build this structure but if you click on epitalon, option 1 in 3D Molecular Model builder will list the extra parts needed. This procedure works for any molecule.
Note the change in nitrogen atom geometry from tetrahedral to planar when forming peptide bonds. If you wish to connect other amino acids to this tetrapeptide you will need add a planar nitrogen to the shopping cart for every additional peptide bond.
Use our free 3D Molecular Model Builder to list the parts of up to 10 amino acids.
Indigo Instruments has maintained a substantial inventory of genuine Cochranes of Oxford (Orbit) atoms & bonds for over 30 years. These parts are compatible with every student & teacher molecular model set we have sold since day 1. This level of quality may appear expensive but no parts support from other vendors costs even more.

I've had consistently great service from this company. Our students seem to really appreciate the reasonable price. In the years that we've used this product, not one has been returned due to defects.
Considering how many of these we sell to schools every year, that is high praise indeed. Thanks letting us know.
