Graduated cylinders measure out volumes of liquid accurately. Our Class B cylinders are rated at 1% accuracy if read them properly. If not, it could be 2% or worse.
The bottom of the meniscus, the curved "lens" at the top of the liquid must line it up with the cylinder's calibration lines to be read accurately. The video shows a 100 ml graduated cylinder in use where the viewing angle is level & from slightly above, which is incorrrect.
