Produce such as avocados, melons, citrus fruits, squashes, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes & apples, etc. are consumed raw. Make your own 100ppm hydrogen peroxide fruit & vegetable wash by pouring a tablespoon (15mL) of 3% percent hydrogen peroxide into one gallon (4L) of water. Use Indigo® 100ppm peroxide test strips to confirm the dilution has been done correctly.
Soak your raw vegetables in this liquid for a few minutes. Rub their outsides with a clean cloth to remove pesticide residues & then rinse in clean water and dry them. Indigo® 0-100ppm peroxide test strips can further show that no residual hydrogen peroxide remains before you eat your fruit & veggies. Wet a hydrogen peroxide test strip pad with distilled water & press it against a fruit or vegetable. Allow the strip to develop for 10 seconds & then compare to the color chart. A reading of <1 ppm indicates little or no residual H2O2.

Good to know. Some of the hot tub vendors who have contacted us over the years recommend the 400ppm hydrogen peroxide strips. Both are effective but outdoor hot tubs may be more susceptible to windblown algae as well as H2O2 breakdown due to sunlight.

However, they didn't do what they said they would do for shipping. The site said orders before 11am shipped same day. My order was after 11am but, i felt it should be shipped next day which did not happen. It was handled as an order that came in after 11am the next day & then there was one more extra day delay for 'power outage'...disappointing!
